Plain-language overview. Associated Ventures aims to make its public information usable by people with diverse access needs. WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the design and testing target, not a claim of complete conformance or legal certification.
1. Scope and target
This statement covers public pages on associatedventures.info. Design and testing target WCAG 2.2 Level AA and the accessibility objects of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth). Conformance requires broader ongoing evaluation than automated testing alone.
2. Implemented support
- Semantic landmarks, logical headings, descriptive links and complete direct-load HTML.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, a skip link and visible focus indication.
- Responsive layouts and touch controls intended to remain usable on small screens.
- Dark and light themes; meaning is not intended to depend on colour alone.
- Reduced-motion support and JavaScript-free access to core page content.
- Text reflow and browser zoom support without deliberately microscopic legal text.
Images carrying information require suitable alternatives; decorative branding is hidden from assistive technology where adjacent text supplies the name. If audio or video is introduced, captions, transcripts or equivalent alternatives should be provided.
3. Forms, errors and authentication
Activated forms should provide programmatic labels, instructions, understandable validation and error identification. Authentication design should accommodate password managers and accessible MFA methods. Public account and production staff authentication are not activated by this website, so those flows are not claimed as tested here.
4. Compatibility, tested behaviour and known limits
The release is tested with current Chrome and Edge engines, keyboard input, responsive widths, reduced motion, theme choices and zoom. Differences in older browsers, extensions, operating-system settings and assistive technology can affect results. External websites and documents are outside this site’s control. Automated checks do not reproduce every screen-reader or cognitive-access experience.
5. Assistance, alternative formats and feedback
Use the verified public contact pathway to request assistance, an alternative format or report a barrier. Include the page address, task, browser or assistive technology and what occurred, but no passwords or sensitive records. We will assess reasonable options without promising a fixed response deadline. Findings are prioritised according to impact, safety and feasibility, then retested.
